The Ark

Clutton C of E Primary School are pleased to offer wraparound care within our school at The Ark. The Ark offers a breakfast club from 7.55am to 8.55am and after school club from 3.15pm to 6.00pm, during term time.

We offer a safe, secure, friendly , play based environment at The Ark provides a variety of fun activities for your child to get involved in, from baking to crafts and outdoor activities .Our team are always on hand to support and guide children. Both clubs are based in the School Hall at Clutton C of E Primary School, meaning children are always within a familiar environment.

Breakfast club

7.55 am-8.55 am: £5 per child. £4.50 for siblings (includes breakfast).
8.25 am -8.55 am: £2.50 per child. £2.30 for siblings.

For Breakfast a range of cereals, or toast, with water, milk and juice is available.

Parents should arrive with their children to the foundation stage door to sign in. There is a bell to ring for attention. If a child requires breakfast, they should arrive by 8.15am, at the latest. Children will be escorted to their classroom by a club leader at 8.50am

After school club

3:15 pm – 5:00 pm. £7.70 per child. £7.20 for siblings.
3.15 pm – 6.00 pm. £11.20 per child. £10.70 for siblings.

A register will be taken on arrival. Children will be offered squash, milk or water with a biscuit or piece of fruit. If Pupils stay for the up to 6pm session, a light tea will be served between 5.10 and 5.20pm.This, such as beans on toast, begals, toasties, Pasta, fruit. Parents should collect their child from the EYFS Door, by ringing the bell for attention. If for any reason the named parent or carer is unable to collect your child, then please telephone 01829 782367.

Late charge

Please pick up your child promptly by 6pm. If you pick up your child after 6pm, a late pickup charge of £15 will be added to School Money, on top of the session charge.

Useful Information

Both breakfast and after school club take place in our school hall, so your child is always on the school premises. We also use the outdoor space like the field and playground at Clutton Primary School for activities like gardening.

Theme Nights
At the end of every term The Ark After School Club will be holding special theme nights. Come back to this page for more information. In addition, we do have staff led activities on all 5 nights.
Monday :Arts & craft.
Tuesday: Quiz Night
Wednesday: Baking.
Thursday: Games night.
Friday: Cinema night.
Wherever possible, we do like to get outside, and pupils can use our facilities, such as the Trim-trail, School Field and Forest Area, as well as the Playground and Multi Use Games Area. We also have a wide range of board games, lego, dressing up,  and arts & crafts materials.

Booking & Payments

Booking your child/ren into sessions into The Ark, should be on a half term basis. You will be sent an email the week before the end of term, asking you which sessions that you require for the next half term.

Payments for The Ark are made via our online payment system system, which is School Money. Payment of fees must be in advance on a weekly basis. For regular sessions, Parents must  calculate the sessions that they require for the following week, and that amount must be paid in credit on School Money, by a Saturday, proceeding the next session, in order for a pupil to be listed on the Register for days in the following week. Credit should also be applied before asking for adhoc sessions too.

For Parents new to the system, or if you have a problem logging on to School Money, you should contact admin@clutton.cheshire.sch.uk for a password to be set up..

Voucher Payments

We accept Care-4, Edenred, Childcare Choices and Tax Free Childcare Vouchers. We can be found under Clutton C of E Primary School, if you choose to pay by this system.
